- Dick retired in May 2003 from Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland after completing a 43-year career in Test and Evaluation. For the last 18 years, he held positions as Director of Technical Support, Director of Engineering and Director of Firepower. He is a member of the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara for Artillerymen and has been a member of the Aberdeen Proving Ground Chapter of NDIA for twenty years and has served as Treasurer of the chapter for four years.
